Dave is a graduate of Dyke College with a B.S. in Business/Accounting, and a CPA since 1990. He is the owner of the firm and is a member of the Ohio Society of CPA’s. He has been working in public accounting for the past 21 years. Dave is a registered investment advisor and holds the following licenses, Series 6, 63 and 65. His areas of focus are corporate, individual and estate income taxes, financial and investment advising, and financial statement preparation. Renee Hoyt, Tax Advisor
Renee Hoyt is a tax advisor and bookkeeper. She assists clients with personal and corporate tax preparation, payroll, and bookkeeping services. She has been employed with Gerst Tax for over 5 years and is available throughout the year to assist you. Previously, she was employed at another local accounting firm for 16 years. Renee earned her Associates in Business Administration-Accounting from Lorain County Community College in 1997 and has been in the accounting industry ever since. Annually she completes the IRS’s Annual Filing Season Program-Record of Completion to remain current with tax law updates. She is also knowledgeable in QuickBooks accounting software.
